"Ask Kevin" is designed to answer
your questions about the art and practice of astrology, and
related topics (such as tarot cards and numerology). Although
there is a great deal of astrological information available
in books, sometimes it doesn't seem to cover exactly what
you're wondering about in a precise manner (not to mention
the fact that astrology books tend to go out of print very
quickly!). I've created this section partly because I wanted
a way to answer some of the types of questions that I've seen
posted to alt.astrology
in a more comprehensive way than I can when I post to the
newsgroups (usually during my lunch hour, and away from my
library), and partly because there were times, before I started
formal study of Astrology, when I had a specific question
(like, "just what the heck is a Saturn Return
anyway?") and it took me far too long to find a reasonable
simple answer.
"Ask Kevin" is not intended to
be a "free reading" section. If you have a rather
involved situation that you would like guidance on, you might
want to check out the Readings
section and consider a personal consultation. However, if
you have a question that (while it does concern you, personally)
might be of general interest (like, "I've got Pluto transiting
my 7th house - what can I expect here?") then "Ask
Kevin" is the right place to ask it.
I usually edit the questions for brevity
before posting them, and I will always eliminate any personal
information from the question before posting, unless I have
your explicit permission to include it. I also will only include
your first name when posting the question, and I will not
(under any circumstances) include your e-mail or other contact
information. If I've selected your question, I'll let you
know by e-mail, and I'll try and let you know when your question
and answer have been posted. I can't promise to answer questions
via e-mail, however.
The best way to get an idea of the types
of questions that are appropriate to "Ask Kevin"
is to check out some of the "Ask Kevin" postings,
either the current
questions, or some previously featured questions from
the Archives. And if you want to find our more about exactly
